It's from Pink Macaroon, an American designer. I emailed her and asked if she had any more Unicorn fabric in yellow, and she replied that she had just enough to make a skirt for me. Uh...and you'll see the result of that little splurge. XD (Spent the Christmas money on it...)
This is the package! :D Such nice decoration, don't you think?
And this is what was in the pretty package. :3
TA DAAAAA!!! Brand new and made just for me! ♥ ♥ Ain't it super adorable in yellow?
It's fully lined and the bottom is adorned with Venician (sp?) lace. (As in, lace from and/or originaly from Venice, Italy.) I can tell she put alot of love into it.
Here's a (very badly shot) close up of the print.
And of course I had to try it on. Fits perfectly! I'm also very impressed with her sewing skills. She purposely put pleats in the skirt, so it would poof without a petticoat.Okay, here's the bad things. >___<
1: I found it too be a little shorter than expected. But the measurements matched what she said they would be...so it could just be me, who is used to longer skirts.
2: I figured out it does NOT come with a headbow. (And she doesn't have anywhere that you can buy it..) So..maybe it was a mistake or they don't come with a headbow in the first place..Anyway, I had to take off the waist bow and clip it to a headband.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase, and it's worth it to me to have this brand skirt. I am supporting American designers and get something brand out of it. :3 Thank you very much for your great buisness, Pink Macaroon! ♪
Ugh, darn cameras apparently don't wait for you to put your shoes on....
