Okay, because Kobato by CLAMP
Kobato is a sweet and perky girl, but also extremely naive about the world around her. She has a "mission" to fill her mysterious bottle with people's hearts she heals so her wish to go a certain place can be granted. However, the restriction is that she is not allowed to fall in love with any person whose heart she heals. As Kobato attempts to fulfill her mission, she is accompanied by Ioryogi, a spirit in the form of a dog plushie. Because Ioryogi is responsible for a punishment that has been applied to him and his friends from the spiritual world, he must guide Kobato and ensure that she succeeds her mission so he and his friends might return to their true form.
I think I'm in love! ♥ ♥ The whole anime- from the animation style to the character cast- seems very sweet and nostalgic. Kobato has entered the 'Heathy's favorite anime girl' list, along with Chii from Chobits and Sakura from Tsubasa. (notice I've become kind of a CLAMP addict? XD)I wanted to watch the anime at first, because I had heard that the Tsubasa characters would be showing up sometime in it. But then I found out that Kurogane's seiyuu (Inada Tetsu), would be cast as Ioryogi (the blue dog), and I just HAD to see that! XDDD
I have watched more since I've written this review and my expectations for this anime were spot on. The plot starts out a little slow and tedious, but as the story progresses, new information about each of the characters is revealed. The storyline builds upon itself as well; keeping a good, solid storyline that they come back to regularly. The flow and pace of the anime is well thought out.
The ending is the best I have ever seen in ANY anime OR manga. It is nicely paced; and doesn't drag out through several episodes. Also, it's a very happy one. Everyone, even the 'bad guys' in it get a happy ending. So, personally, if I could tell you the one thing that makes this one worth watching...It's the ending. ^^
I recommend Kobato to everyone. Even little kids could probably watch it. It is currently my second favorite anime of all time. ^^ Thank you for reading.
